The Trailer Tonics Story

When we say we love to have fun, we LOVE to have fun! Our passion for fun and making memories is your gain as we start this new venture with those 2 principles in mind to bring you Trailer Tonics. 

Trailer Tonics is what happens when you combine two determined and creative entrepreneurial women who live to make things happen for themselves and others. 

Meet Alexis Harke & Kate Gallagher. 

Alexis is the brains & brawn behind Trailer Tonics and got this project to "giddy up". After an astounding 40-year career in the insurance industry, Alexis "retired" in 2023. Owning her own brokerage for the last 8 years of her career proves that Alexis is not afraid of a challenge. In addition to an extremely successful career in insurance, Alexis believes in giving back to the community. Her philanthropic ventures have led her to being the past chair of Pilgrims Hospice, board member for the Zebra Child Protection Centre and Miss Rodeo Canada (it's no wonder a horse trailer was her vessel of choice). 

Currently Alexis serves on the board for the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, she is the co-chair for Breathing Space (Canada's first lung health recovery house) and is a director at large with Miss Rodeo Canada. 

In addition to all of this, Alexis hand-crafted all of the millwork in our trailer! 

Kate, well Kate also loves a good challenge and when Alexis presented the idea of a mobile bar to Kate she said "Heck ya. Giddy Up!" Similar to Alexis, Kate has been making some career transformations of her own. After being in the events and fundraising industry for 30 years, 20 of those years spent at the helm of KMG Events, Kate was ready for a change. Kate's company KMG Events supported charitable initiatives locally, regionally and nationally and was integral in raising over $25 Million dollars for these charities. While Kate may be out of the event execution business, she still remains dedicated to supporting several charitable initiatives. In the past she served on the revenue development committee for EOCF and is currently on the committee for the Feisty Pickles Charity Pickleball tournament for Alberta Lung and on the Black Tie Bingo organizing committee. 

Kate's vast knowledge of events, marketing and fundraising is the perfect pairing with Alexis's immense array of skills.
